Would you like to help the IRR?

We operate primarily on donations. We are always in need of extra tanks, bedding, food, reptile accessories, and of course, cash! We have a GREAT need for heat bulbs and heat pads as well as lumber and building materials for bigger cages.

What does it take to run Iowa Reptile Rescue?

$500/month rent

$100/month insurance

$300/month initial loan

$150/month vet bill average

$50/month gasoline

$10/month website

$250/month snake food

$200/month greens/fruit

$100/month other foods & Misc.

$240/month advertising & other expenses

TOTAL: $1950 per month

 

Iowa Reptile Rescue DOES NOT receive any grant funding. We are self-funded our out of owner’s pockets and donations. Public donations and adoption donations average $450/month.

So over $1500 a month is out of our personal pockets to run the rescue.

 

We accept cash and checks mailed or in person. We also can do a donation via paypal (please contact us at contact@iowareptilerescue.com  for more information).
